There are two important points to consider to achieve a lasting and strong bond of the Covers:

1) The car surfaces have to be completly clean, dry and free of grease

Use grease free solvent like isopropyl alcohol for the cleaning.

We add suitable cleaning cloth to all carbon fiber covers. Please be careful when handeling the covers and do not touch the adherend.

 

2) Apply even and appropiate force when applying the covers

The Surfacetemperatur in the car should be at least 20°C (68F), higher temperatures are benefical.

The 3m adhesive features high inital bond strength and a lasting consistent bond.

The bond strength increases with time.

The covers can be removed residue-free and without damaging the car interiour.

For the areas of maximum load, like bends and arcs we additionaly recommend to use 3m Primer 94 - we includ this in all orders if needed.

Apply a thin coat of the primer to the marked areaes of the car interiour and let it dry for a few minutes.

The primer can be removed using alcohol.
